The value of the global English language travel market declined in 2016, compared with 2015, largely due to significant declines in student numbers and weeks in the UK and USA. Just three of the eight featured English language destinations posted an increase in both student numbers and weeks in 2016. Bethan Norris looks at this year's global picture, as well as the trends between 2012 and 2016.
